Author’s Note: This short story was written for a quick writing exercise for my Writing Fiction class. Like with 100 Gold, I figured I’d test out a couple more ideas for the short story assignment I was going to have to do for that class, the end result of which was Playing with Fire. After finishing Playing with Fire, I tidied it up a bit, but it is much less refined than my proper short stories.
