Author’s Note: This short story was written for a quick writing exercise for my Reading, Writing and Criticism class. We were instructed to try different writing exercises and methods. For this one, the exercise was to continue from the previous exercise, Well, Shit, the Internet is Down, in a stream of consciousness style. Because the result of that isn’t going to be somewhat concerning when the last exercise ended on starting a game of Cards Against Humanity. So, be warned, if Cards Against Humanity‘s sense of humour is not for you, then neither is this writing exercise.
