HAT Format (July 2014) is the last Zexal-era format. The format’s name came from the Hand, Artifact, and Traprix engines, which when combined made the HAT deck. The latest sets were Dragons of Legend and Primal Origin. Notable additions included Traprix Dionaea, Soul Charge, Sylvan support, and the Artifact and Hand archetypes. This was the last format before Pendulum Monsters and the removal of First Turn Draw.
My HAT Format custom cards include a number of cards that support cards from this era, and all are intended to be of an appropriate power level for this format’s metagame.
